AVIONICS WORKSHOP IS GRANTED
APPROVAL FROM BELGIAN CAA

20 DECEMBER 2006

On 20 December 2006 the Belgian Civil Aviation Authorities (DGLV) issued a certificate of approval to the avioncs workshop at Lambert Aircraft Engineering. In addition to Ultralight (LSA/ULM) and Experimental we are now also offering our products and services to type certificated aircraft, including:

• fixed wing aircraft up to 5700 kg MTOW;

• rotary wing aircraft up to 2000 kg MTOW;
• gliders and self-launching motorgliders;
• hot air balloons.

During 2006, significant efforts and investments have been made in order to expand our range of avionics products and services. In recent months, the avionics department has become an independent entity within Lambert Aircraft Engineering. This national approval is a first step towards EASA Part M approval, which will probably be obtained within the next 6 months.
